Understanding Social Movements

The Consortium, founded in 2019, is building a community of activists, practitioners, researchers, educators, and students—whether inhabiting one or many of these identities—to deepen our understanding of how social movements educate people, how people learn and grow through personal and institutional involvement in movements, and how movements shape public policy.
